The Anger Solution Card game utilizes research and evidence-based methods to help students build CASEL skills in the areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. It is a psycho-educational tool for helping children to learn effective and socially-acceptable conflict management skills, and should be played with adult supervision. Learning to react positively to anger can help minimize negative reactions students receive from others, and encourage more positive social interactions.
The Anger Solution card game is designed to help students learn positive, proactive responses to anger and frustration through practice and role playing so that they can deal appropriately with real world situations. The cards allow students to choose alternatives that can turn anger-inciting situations into more positive encounters. The object of the game is for players to resolve as many anger-inciting situations as they can within a 20 to 30 minute period. Players get chips for resolving anger situations, and the player with the most chips wins the game.
Contents: 100 cards: 20 People, 40 Situation, and 40 Solution; 100 chips.
