Product Details

Auditory Memory for Short Story Scenes is designed to help users build strong listening skills.  Students look at full color scenes while listening to related short stories.  Following each story, students answer 5 “WH” questions that tap recall and comprehension of the story.  Each of the 50 visually captivating scenarios presents two short stories accompanied by five comprehension questions that must be answered, using what they heard more than what they saw. Additionally, each scene has 25 "Wh" questions (Who, What, Where, When, and Why) and two "How" questions related to the visual scenes for additional extension practice. This evidence-based activity set provides opportunities for explicit instruction and guided practice to strengthen auditory processing, auditory working memory, questioning skills, reading comprehension, comprehending visual information, and verbalizing .

The set includes 50 illustrated scenes (8½” x 11”) presented on 25 double-sided boards. The spiral-bound companion manual (7" x 9¼") offers detailed guidance, stories to read aloud, “WH” questions, and extension games and activities. With a total of 1,850 questions, this versatile set is a valuable tool for educators and therapists alike.

Contents: 50 illustrated scenes on 25 double-sided boards (8½” x 11”), 106-page spiral-bound companion manual (7" x 9¼") with 100 short stories (2 for each scene) and follow up questions.
