Build emotional literacy and expression recognition skills with Emotions Skill Strips—a comprehensive toolset including 120 double-sided photo cards and 240 prompts across four skill levels. Each card features facial expressions associated with six basic emotions: happy, sad, fear, anger, surprise, and disgust. With prompts tailored to different skill levels, it’s easy to adjust this activity to meet students’ abilities and introduce more complex emotions as understanding grows.
Four difficulty levels include:
Level 1 Cards: Students match prompts with corresponding facial expressions displayed by one person.
Level 2 Cards: Students choose the correct facial expression from three different photos of children and adults.
Level 3 Cards: Students identify emotions based on prompts related to various scenarios depicted by three different people.
Level 4 Cards: Students analyze facial expressions and determine the corresponding emotion based on the context provided.
A helpful storage box is included with marked divider tabs, allowing you to store the color-coded cards for easy organization.
