Boiling Over is a "keep calm" matching game you can play to help your students build emotional regulation skills. The fun game helps students build CASEL skills in the areas of self-awareness and self-management. This is a fun relaxing game with kid friendly graphics that can facilitate conversations around emotional regulation.
To play, students must flip cards over to make a "keep calm" pair. Some cards feature calming ideas and others "boiling over" scenarios. If players turn over a "Boiling Over" card, they place it in the pot and lose a turn. The player with the most cards after all 3 ‘Boiling Over’ cards have been turned over is the winner.
Contents: game board, 12 matching card pairs, and 3 Boiling Over cards.
