Enhance childrens’ social skills with the Social Skills Workbook & Game Set. This comprehensive set includes the Social Skills Game, an engaging board game designed to promote positive interaction, and the Social Skills Workbook, an easy-to-use resource developed by Berthold Berg, Ph.D. to reinforce social skills concepts. Through engaging gameplay and focused exercises, this set utilizes research and evidence-based methods to help students build CASEL skills in the areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. It empowers students by building confidence so that they can thrive in various social settings.

The Social Skills Workbook offers practical exercises and uses self-talk techniques to help children learn and reinforce healthy social skills. This workbook guides children in perceiving themselves as competent, anticipating success, reducing worry, accepting mistakes, and taking credit for achievements. It is divided into 4 sections (Making Friends, Cooperating With Peers, Responding Positively to Peers, and Communicating Needs), with 5 specific skills in each section. 60 pages.

The Social Skills Game focuses on four key areas: making friends, responding positively to peers, cooperating, and communicating needs. Gameplay can be easily modified to address specific areas. The facilitator guide includes three customizable inventories to identify students’ specific skill strengths and weaknesses. Game cards can then be selected that focus on each student’s individual needs. Players roll the die, move around the game path on the board, and collect chips as they respond to cards drawn. The objective of the game is to accumulate as many chips as possible by responding appropriately to the cards.
