Safety signs are important to recognize and understand in order to stay safe while out and about your community. Designed by an autism specialist to meet IEP goals, this helpful book will have students matching, identifying, labeling and understanding the meanings of common safety signs. It utilizes research and evidence-based methods to help students build literacy skills in the areas of early language skills, vocabulary, and comprehension. The book is designed to be used on multiple levels, with 4 pre-reading skill activities and 3 reading skill activities described in the instructions on the inside cover.
This high quality, full color, laminated book features easy to read text and full color pictures to guide students as they learn the meanings of several important signs they may encounter.
