Ef's Hanger

Elf’s Hanger takes the simple, real-life activity of hanging clothes to dry and turns it into an engaging math game! By placing clothes on both sides of the scale, players are challenged to figure out how to make the weight balance. Designed to foster imaginative play and experimentation, this activity provides hours of exploration and learning.

The hangar features notches marked 1 to 10, building number recognition and helping players understand the effects of where they place each item. There are multiple ways to place an item on the hanger, allowing players to experience a hands-on demonstration of physics and weight distribution.

Each clothing piece features a number to represent its weight, creating the opportunity for countless math and balancing games. Nine included double-sided activity cards are included with ideas for reinforcing specific skills, including number recognition, addition and subtraction, and balance experiments.
