The Decodable Word pack contains 160 cards designed to teach decoding and spelling.  The front side displays the decodable word, accompanied by a visual image and color-coded sound buttons beneath.  Short vowels are marked in red, while consonants are highlighted in blue.  Lines or dashes represent digraphs and are color-coded according to their corresponding vowel or consonant patterns. 

The reverse side features phoneme frames that group phonemes into color-coded boxes, enhancing clarity.  This side allows children to practice spelling the word or identifying phonemes, fostering hands-on learning.  

These cards easily integrate with the lessons outlined in the Rainbow Phonics Teacher Planners for various grade levels.
