Sam has problems focusing and often daydreams in class. He loves to imagine what it would be like to go on an adventure under water or out in space. Once Sam's imagination gets started its hard for him to pay attention to his teacher or his parents. Everyone seems to be saying "Pay attention!" or "Are you listening?"
When Sam goes to a doctor, he is told that he's lucky- his brain is very powerful and active! However, he does need help concentrating and focusing. By trying out different strategies from the doctor, like organization, better nutrition, and knowing when to ask for help, Sam learns how to work through his concentration issues. His dad also learns how to support him. Best of all he learns to make time for his wonderful imagination!
