Sleep Aids

Many children with autism sleep poorly. A study by the UC Davis Mind Institute found that children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) woke up in the middle of the night significantly more frequently when compared to typically developing children(2012 Krakowiak P, Goodlin-Jones B, Hertz-Picciotto I, Croen LA, Hansen RL). Poor sleep not only affects the autistic person, but the whole family.

Through parental and therapist input we have put together this line of products to create and support positive night time environments. We have a variety of calming lights, with several light levels, and features that can work as night lights. Or you can use them as subtle visual stimuli to keep kids in bed. Our high quality weighted blankets are soft, durable and washable. We also offer sound machines and vibration items to help calm, relax and prepare people on the spectrum for bed.
